Optical Centre Punch

This tool offers a superior method for transferring layout lines to metal or wood with microscopic accuracy.

The system consists of a durable steel holder fitted with a wide (48mm) non-slip base for maximum stability. Included are two transparent Perspex rods (9.5mm diameter) and two hardened steel punches (9.5mm diameter, 60° and 90° tip).

How it works:
The tool utilizes unique Perspex (acrylic) rods that capture ambient light, magnify the surface below, and project an alignment guide onto your workpiece. Simply align the engraved pattern with your mark, swap the rod for a hardened steel punch, and strike—guaranteeing an indentation in the exact position.
