Expanding Mandrel, MT2 Shank - Screw Locking

Unlike quick-nut styles, this design features a screw-lock mechanism at the nose of the mandrel body. Each sleeve offers a larger 1mm expansion range and is securely locked onto the taper via the central screw. A locating ring on the screw engages with an eccentric groove in the sleeve, allowing the sleeve to be positively withdrawn from the taper when loosened—ensuring easy removal and reliable operation.

This system delivers strong, even expansion for secure internal gripping while maintaining excellent concentricity, making it ideal for precision turning, grinding, and finishing applications.
